Purpose
This article explains how to create an Edition in ArtXCloud. -
Intended users
Customer support staff or gallery staff who register or edit Artwork information -
Prerequisites
You must be signed in to ArtXCloud.
2. Instructions
Step 1: Register the basic Artwork information
• Add a new Artwork from the “Artwork inventory list” and enter its basic information.
• For details, see How to Register an Artwork Manually.
■Register an Edition
① Select the Edition type and enter the total number in the Edition.
② Enter the artwork information other than the Edition details, then click "NEXT".
Click “Add ED” once for each Edition number you want to register.
■Register AP, PP, or HC
① Select Artist Proof, Printer’s Proof, or Hors Commerce.
② Enter the quantity to register for each type, such as AP.
③ Enter the detailed information.

Step 2: Review the Edition information in the Artwork details
- After adding all Artwork details, go to the Artwork inventory screen to review the registered records.
- Open an Edition Artwork and use “Related Editions” at the bottom of the Artwork detail screen to view the other Edition records.

3. Additional Information
• If you initially register an Edition total of 3 and later need another record, use “+ Add” in Related Editions.
Instructions
• Select the Artwork from the “Artwork inventory list” and open its detail screen.
•At the bottom of the page, click “+ Add” under “Related Editions” and enter the required information.
• After registration, the information appears in Related Editions and the Artwork inventory list.
4. Notes and Frequently Asked Questions
• Custom Properties must be configured in advance in the administration screen.
5. After Completion
• The entered or edited information appears on the Artwork detail screen and in printed materials.
• Properly registered Artworks are immediately available for inventory management and sales.
