How to Create a Segment

1. Introduction

• Purpose of this guide

  This guide explains what Segments are and how to create them in ArtXCloud.

• Intended users

  Gallery staff and Customer Support staff who use email campaigns and want to group recipients

• Prerequisites

  You are signed in to ArtXCloud

  Contact data has already been registered

2. Instructions: Create a Segment

Step 1: Open the Segment creation screen

1. In the left menu , click＂Contacts "Segment"

   
    

2. Click "+ Add Segment" in the upper-right corner
    
3. On the ""Add Segment"" screen, configure the following
   • Segment name
   • Segment type (Manual Selection / Automatic Extraction)

• Manual Selection: Manually select Contacts from the Contact list

• Automatic Extraction: Automatically select Contacts by Tag

  *Ranks and Tags must be configured in advance.

Step 2: Review the destination screen

• Manual Selection: You are taken to the "Segment List" page.

• Automatic Extraction: You are taken to the "Segment Details"page, where matching Contacts are listed.

3. Notes and frequently asked questions

• Use a clear Segment name, such as ""VIP Contacts"" or ""Event Attendees""
• For Automatic Extraction, changing the conditions updates the matching Contacts in real time

4. Result

• The created group appears in "Segment List"
• You can select the Segment when configuring an email campaign
