Purpose of this guide
This guide explains how to configure a custom domain (the part after @) for emails sent from ArtXCloud.

Intended users
Gallery staff and Customer Support staff who want to configure a custom sender email address

Prerequisites
- You are signed in to ArtXCloud
- You already own a custom domain
- You can access the administration console of your domain provider
2. Instructions
[1] What is a custom domain?
This setting lets you send ArtX Cloud emails from your organization's own domain.
If no custom domain is configured, emails are sent from the default @artx.com domain.
The setup consists of two steps:
- Configure the domain in ArtX Cloud
- Configure DNS records with your domain provider
[2] Configure the domain in ArtX Cloud

In the left menu, click ""Settings"" > ""Custom Domain Settings""

Click ""Add Domain""

Enter your organization's domain without @, then click ""Create""

Review the ""DNS Records"" for the added domain
→ ""Type,"" ""Record Name,"" and ""Record Value"" are displayed. You will use these details in the next step.
[3] Configure DNS with your domain provider
*Verification may take several days after you configure the DNS records.
[4] Check the verification status
- Open ""Custom Domain Settings"" in ArtX Cloud

Verification is complete when the ""Status"" changes from ""pending"" to ""verified""
[5] Configure the sender email address

Under ""Sender Email Address,"" click ""Add Email Address""

In the window that appears, enter or select the following:
1. Enter the part before @ (for example, support)
2. Select the domain you want to use from the dropdown menu (for example, artx.com) -
Select the domain to use, then click ""Create""
→ Your sender address is registered (for example, info@yourdomain.com).
3. Notes and frequently asked questions
- Even when the DNS records are configured correctly, verification can take up to approximately 72 hours
- You cannot use the address for email delivery until verification is complete
- You can delete or reconfigure a registered domain from the administration screen
4. Result
- You can use a sender address on the configured domain
- You can select the specified custom-domain address when sending emails
