How to Create a Transaction

1. Introduction

• Purpose of This Guide:
  • This guide explains the steps and important points for creating a Transaction in ArtX Cloud.
• Intended Users:
  • Staff who use ArtX Cloud to register inventory, purchase, and sale Transactions
• Prerequisites:
  • You are signed in to ArtX Cloud.
  • The relevant Contacts and Artwork inventory have been registered in advance.

2. Enter the Transaction Information

Enter the information in the following order.

1. Enter the Transaction details

First, enter the basic Transaction information.



 

• Transaction type Select the appropriate value,
  such as Sale or Purchase.

2. Set the Contact and Transaction date

Select the Contact, such as a collector or gallery, and the Transaction date.

The Transaction date can be in the past or future.
 

3. Add Artworks

Add the Artworks included in the Transaction.
You can add multiple Artworks.

3. Enter Pricing

1. Select the currency

First, select the currency.

2. Enter Artwork prices and tax

Enter the following for each Artwork:

• Artwork price

  
   

• To apply the same tax rate to all Artworks

  

• To set tax separately for each Artwork

3. Enter other fees

• Other fees, such as shipping

  Enter all other fees, including shipping, as tax-inclusive amounts.

Review the amounts, then click “Next.”

4. Complete the Transaction

Review all amounts, then click “Create Transaction” to finish.

5. Notes

• You may be unable to create the Transaction if there is insufficient Artwork inventory.
• Editing may be restricted after the Transaction is created, so review everything before confirming.
